Hanna + Lucas Wedding S'mores

It doesn’t get S’more lovely than this!

It’s mimosa time for Hanna as she watches her bridesmaids get their hair + makeup finished. Somehow, she’s not feeling nervous at all. Having already been with Lucas for so long and even parenting 4 dogs together, an official marriage doesn’t change much for their relationship but really just gives them an opportunity to share and celebrate their love with friends and family. With no nerves and comfy pj’s, she waits to put on her dress.

Just down the hall, it’s a different story. Lucas is a ball of nerves, and he has no idea why. He says it’s true getting married doesn’t change their relationship, but for some reason the butterflies are bouncing around inside him. He can’t wait to see his beautiful bride, and boy is he going to be blown away!

Their aunt’s backyard made a gorgeous backdrop for their vows. With a view of the boulders through the archway and surrounded by family and friends Lucas finally got to see his bride, Hanna. I told you he would be blown away!

When the ring is just a little bit small… Shove it! 😂

Hanna + Lucas found a sitter for their 4 dogs and travelled all the way from their home in Nebraska to Arizona for their wedding, and I’m so grateful I was chosen to be a part of their wedding. From the first phone call, I knew we would get along so well. In her questionnaire, Hanna said they are a really low-key and go with the flow kind of couple, and even apologized if her wedding wasn’t super organized and prompt! It was so sweet, and worked out perfectly because I am also very go with the flow! We were able to capture so many candid and fun memories together, and my only regret is that they lived closer because I would love to hangout with them all the time!

Reception

For the final hurrah of the night, the moment we’ve all been waiting for… S’MORES! These two lovebirds shared the cutest, messiest, most fun snack together under the stars in front of a fire, and it was seriously adorable.
